Tamigo Strengthens Its European Presence with Strategic Merger

Copenhagen, June 17, 2025 – tamigo, a leading provider of workforce management software, has strengthened its European market position through the acquisition of its dedicated resellers in the Benelux, Norway, and Spain. This strategic consolidation enhances knowledge sharing and expertise, enabling tamigo to better serve the needs of its pan-European customer base.

Aligning Efforts for International Growth

Operating in more than 30 countries and supporting 24 languages, tamigo is a significant player in workforce management across Europe with local expertise and strong relations with international customers.Quote from Jakob Toftgaard

“I am very excited to welcome all three organisations and their founders into our global organisation after many years of close collaboration. Each market has developed strong competencies and expertise. Now, we are bringing these strengths together to reinforce our position as a leading European provider,” says Jakob Toftgaard, CEO and founder of tamigo. “By focusing and aligning our efforts, we can create greater value faster for our customers and further improve our international services.”

Retaining and Leveraging Local Expertise

All three former managing directors have proven their ability to very successfully grow a profitable business and build their organisations. With the merger, they now take on vital new roles within tamigo:

  • Wouter Lemckert, former Managing Director of the Benelux, steps into the position of Head of Sales, leading global sales, customer onboarding, and marketing efforts across the entire organisation.

  • Alfonso Franch, former Managing Director in Spain, becomes Customer Onboarding Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient transition for new customers across all of Europe.

  • Jan-Petter Ødegaard, former Managing Director in Norway, moves into the role of Senior Customer Success Manager, focusing on enterprise clients and leveraging his experience within the market.

“This international merger opens up exciting opportunities for both our customers and colleagues,” says Wouter Lemckert, new Head of Sales. “I’m thrilled to continue my close involvement with tamigo and take on a key role in driving our global growth.”

Alfonso Franch, new Customer Onboarding Manager, adds: “This merger was a natural next step. By uniting our successful businesses, we not only strengthen our market position but also enhance our collective expertise to drive continued success.”

“While knowledge sharing across markets has always been a priority, we are now breaking our country silos even more,” adds Jan-Petter Ødegaard. “This will allow us to truly work
together across borders and create an even better workforce management experience for our customers.”

A Leadership Team Built for the Future
